Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Collaborative Solutions Coordinator supports the Supply Chain conversion of both commercial members and Mercy-acquired hospitals, to include GPO portfolio conversion and the ROi services offering. The Coordinator works collaboratively with multiple departments within ROi, to include Analytics/Cost Study, Technology & Information Business Solutions (TIBS), Finance, Marketing & Communications, Integrated Sourcing Solutions, and CSC Operations, in order to support the Collaborative Solutions team across implementation projects that are in various phases of the project cycle. This position will interface with external vendors to ensure contract conversions through the Collaboration Portal (CP) are occurring in a timely manner, consistent with the contract requirements established in the CP. The position will also interface with ROi members in obtaining regular monthly data feeds that can be used for analytical purposes, and will work to identify key stakeholders as possible candidates for service line membership. The position will assume responsibility for maintenance and creation of various member and ROi internal use reports that are currently in use, and will play a key role in the development of new reporting and process tools that will be developed by the TIBS team.

 

Overview

Responsibilities


Administers the contract approval process in an efficient and timely manner, submitting documentation to leadership for approval/execution and transmitting those executed documents to vendor/supplier/distributor and members

Creates, monitors, maintains, and reports metrics related to process and usage, including the stoplight report

Provides support in tracking, monitoring, and communicating implementation progress on contracting initiatives to internal/external stakeholders

Tracks contract savings and revenue on a monthly basis, interacting with Contract Administration and Analytics to validate savings purported at the time of contract routing

Uses related technologies to provide analysis in areas of cost savings, contract conversion and contract growth opportunities

Provides support for cost studies for existing ROi members and potential new ROi members

Provides timely and accurate communications to project teams regarding status of all comparative cost study projects

Collaborates to ensure critical contract data is updated appropriately in the contract management system and critical contract details and issues are represented appropriately

Through collaboration with Integrated Business Solutions and/or MTS, ensures that meaningful value captured through comparative analytic events is retained as opportunities for market intelligence

Identifies key stakeholders as possible candidates for service line membership

 

Qualifications:

Education: Education - 4 year degree or equivalent experience would be considered
Experience: Three years of applicable materials/resource optimization or business experience 


Other:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Proficient in qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with diverse groups of people
  • Capable of handling multiple, complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills, including polished presentation skills
