Under direct supervision of the Manager, ISS Services, and guidance from the ISS Services Coordinator, the System Support Specialist has responsibility for: Operational support, data entry and integrity, troubleshooting data load errors, project management, facilitating communication with customers, and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Improving Processes: Brings creative ideas to the workplace; demonstrates good judgment about which creative ideas will work.

Customer Support & Consulting: Able to relate the company’s products and services to assist in developing strategies that are customer-centric.

Tools & Technology: Incorporate the use of technology into daily work life to improve own efficiency.

Negotiating and Contracting: Finds common ground to accommodate the conflicting needs and wants of different stakeholders.

Managing Projects: Effectively leads project teams to achieve goals and provides deliverables.

Optimize Relationships: Seeks to understand others by noticing and responding to nonverbal behavior.

 

Qualifications:

Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

 

  • Bachelors degree, or in lieu of degree, substantial equivalent experience in business, supply chain management, customer relationship management or related fields
  • Strong knowledge of contract language and formats, including pricing
  • Accurate, detailed and organized
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent PC skills and system skills; proficient in Excel and Word
  • Adaptable, strong team player with outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines; self-motivated with a sense of urgency
