Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsible for the development and oversight of the Pharmacy Unit Dose Repacking and IV Compounding operations of the Consolidated Services Center (CSC). Develops policies and procedures to assure all federal and state regulations are strictly adhered to, maintains all records and performs quality assurance validation in coordination with the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.

Education: 1. Completion of a pharmacy degree program approved by the State Board of Pharmacy or foreign college of pharmacy with a transcript verification program and successful completion of pharmacy equivalency exam and communication testing. 2. Maintains Continuing Education Requirements.
Licensure: State Board of Pharmacy licensure or eligibility.
Experience: 3 years Pharmacist work experience, with at least 1 of the 3 years related to automated pharmacy technology.
