Manage the overall engineering and maintenance needs including capital requirements at the CSC, the CDC, & the CPS Republic facility. Drive full compliance with all applicable internal SOP's and external regulations with regard to the use and control of equipment, building, and systems and assume responsibility for implementing cost reeducation programs through continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities:

 

1. Manage daily activities of facility engineering and maintenance.

 

2. Manage the preventive maintenance programs from M&E, fixtures, & systems.

 

3. Mange and develop capital expenditures as well as annual capital appropriation budget. 

 

4. Manage the business relationship with and supervise the performance of engineering/maintenance service providers and/or contractors.

 

4. Performs all required facility engineering and maintenance SOP training with pertinent co-workers.

 

5. Actively participate in the safety committee programs.

 

6. Facilitate and lead the maintenance activities at each facility.

 

7. Work to eliminate contracted labor when it makes sense.

 

Qualifications:

 

Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

 

  • BS in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years experience in HVAC, Electric, Mechanical, and General facility maintenance
  • Certified Facility Management
