Responsibilities and Qualifications



Supervises daily operations of CPS production area. Hires, trains, develops staff. Produces finished goods for CPS to established production schedules, designs, and established quality standards. Implements and enforces “best practices” of co-workers to surgical “kitting” industry. Ensures raw materials used for production are within ROi compliance standards. Ensures proper handling of materials to minimize scrap losses. Plans for optimum labor utilization by scheduling and planning of available shop orders awaiting production. This position involves direct interaction with operations managers, department directors, inventory control personnel, group purchasing managers, clinical consultants and supply chain co-workers related to CPS operations. Direct management of co-workers will be required of this position.




Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:


  • High school diploma, some college preferred
  • Five years of progressive production management, inventory management and/or production planning a plus
