Responsibilities and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Sr. Category Manger, manages the negotiation and maintenance activity of a portfolio of contracts. Works with suppliers to improve contract competitiveness, category coverage and enlists the support of Service Line leader to obtain member feedback to support portfolio development.

Carries out strategic vision set by vertical lead and Sr. Category Manager and potentially initiates opportunities to develop new solutions to drive value for members.

Education - Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience

Experience - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a product management, business development, contract management, or clinical role.

Other Skills & Knowledge – General understanding of health-care industry and experience negotiating contracts for products and or services.

Preferred Education – Bachelor’s degree relevant experience in a product management, business development, contract management, or clinical role desired.
