    Responsibilities and Qualifications



    The Supply Chain Customer Support Coordinator (SCCSC) provides high-quality, quick and accurate, supply chain support to, ROI Members (Mercy Supply Chain Customers & ROI Commercial Customers) through proactive solutions and decision making as well as requisition processing, daily product sourcing, vendor purchase order negotiations, purchase order placement, confirmation follow up, and expediting of purchase orders for products and services for the Mercy Consolidated Services Center (CSC) as well as all Mercy entities. The SCCSC is responsible for daily customer and vendor relationships both within and outside of the organization. The Supply Chain Customer Support Contact Center services include the above as well as purchase order assistance and information including: calling in rush orders to vendors, order status inquiry and investigation, order tracking and expediting, CSC and CPS order assistance and information, sourcing alternatives for CSC out of stock items, customer requisition software and process training and customer communications and guidance relating to processes, vendors, the CSC, ROi Custom Pack Manufacturing, Mercy supply chain, ROi Transportation, Supply Chain Technology, ROi Contracts and all GPO operations and basic requisition technical support. The SCCSC Performs all work in accord to the mission, vision and values of Mercy Health and ROi. The SCCSC focuses on the ongoing service and enhancement of a minimally intrusive and customer focused purchasing process. Department members actively promote a servant's heart among their team and all Supply Chain Division personnel.




    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:


    • High School Diploma
    • 1 year of call center or customer service related experience
    • A working knowledge of Tecsys, Lawson and Salesforce software preferred
