Oversee and provide strategic direction for Mercy’s Specialty Pharmacy function to meet clinical/quality, financial, regulatory and operational goals. Collaborate and coordinate the activities of Specialty pharmacy coworkers and leaders across the Ministry to develop, maintain and monitor compliance with consistent pharmacy operating procedures and practices. Collaborates with Mercy's strategic planning/growth functions to broaden geographic presence and identify growth opportunities for Specialty Pharmacy Services. Ensures compliance with rules and regulations that pertain to the targeted populations.

Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
Required Education: Registered Pharmacist (Advanced degree preferred);
Required Licensure: State licensure (Missouri) as per clinical background
Required Experience: Strong clinical practice experience in targeted population required.
Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Commensurate with advanced clinical pharmacy or nursing training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience: 7-10 years of progressive healthcare leadership
