    As part of ROi’s Operations Leadership team, this position is responsible for management of the custom procedure tray (CPT) assembly facility and will work with all peer and support functions to implement strategies that improve Clinical, Operational and Financial outcomes. This position supports ROi strategic growth initiatives by driving quality manufacturing, operational efficiencies and continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of industry recognized practices in the areas of custom procedure tray assembly and medical device manufacturing, as well as a keen understanding of ROi’s services and offerings and can represent ROi effectively at national forums and present the totality of ROi’s business model.


    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    • Manage day-to-day operations of CPT facility, including assembly, material handling, maintenance and other related activities.
    • Develop positive working relationships with ROi Leadership, ROi CPT Peers and Co-Workers, Suppliers, Distributors, Mercy’s Supply Chain Leadership and ROi’s Commercial Customers. Effectively and positively maintain two-way communication with the above.
    • Work collaboratively with Quality and Regulatory Assurance to operate with best in class quality operations and products.
    • Lead continuous improvement program focused upon the end customer which provides documented results. Work with all functions within ROi to ensure understanding of ROi services and offerings and to facilitate their support of these performance improvement efforts.
    • Develop and maintain multi-year programmatic operating and capital plans for department under management, Support CPT Sales/Account Management, as required, with budgeting at a contract level.
    • Participate with ROi Leadership, Sales/Account Management and Marketing to develop and present customer and industry facing presentations and materials to customers and target audiences.
    • Assist with advancement of ROi’s commercialization strategy through development of innovative and progressive cost reductions and operational efficiencies.
    • Work independently or, at times, lead a team of co-workers on projects with internal and external customers alike to support this mission and improve healthcare manufacturing and supply chain management through innovation and the application of the best people, processes, and technologies


    Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in engineering, math, accounting, finance or business

    • Experience: 10 years management experience medical device manufacturing experience, preferably in Custom Procedure tray industry

    • Travel: Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
    • Preferred Education: Master's degree with focus on business or related field
    • Other: High energy leadership style
    • Understanding of current health care system and industry dynamics

    • Exceptional project management, execution and follow-up skills; highly accountable for driving results

    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and relate to all levels of internal and external organizations
