The CDC Operations Lead is responsible for monitoring errors within the Consolidated Distribution Center. Monitoring of errors requires both notification to staff of errors and working with staff to improve defects.
Record Retention - Maintains multiple databases for tracking of record storage, retrievals and destruction. Takes new records into storage by coordinating with Mercy communities, arranging for appropriate transfer, and properly labeling and storing boxes.
Attitude – Effectively practices and promotes teamwork in all duties. Actions are consistent with objectives and goals for department, distribution center, and health system. Remembers that patients are at the end of our supply chain.
Quality of Work – Performs duties in a manner that insures inventory accuracy throughout the Distribution Center. Verifies products, quantities, and insures label integrity. Provides notification of item maintenance when required. Actual accuracy performance consistent with established standards.
Quantity of Work – Consistently produces work volumes relative to established standards. Recommend new methods and techniques in material handling.
Job Knowledge – Knowledge of products and procedures relative to job duties, distribution center, and health system operations.
Communication – Alerts Management Team of resource needs or safety issues. Informs Management Team of any issues that may impede their ability to correctly perform their job duties as assigned.
Judgment – Makes decisions based upon job knowledge and experience. Considers all impacted areas in decision process. Seeks advice where applicable. Judgement sensible and reliable.
Dependability & Empowerment – Completion of assignments without follow up. Ability to identify, adapt, and pursue priorities. Provides proper communication of unresolved issues in a timely manner.
Industry - Utilizes available work hours effectively. Actively seeks other tasks upon completion
Safety - Observes universal precautions consistently. Wears proper personal protective equipment when appropriate. Plays a daily part of maintaining a safe work environment.
Personal Appearance - Wears clothing and Health System badge consistent with dress code. Attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.
Attendance – Adheres to Health System attendance standards. Provides advanced notification of absence where possible.
Because you’re committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That’s why you’ll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma
1. Three years experience in a similar position.
2. Knowledge and/or experience with the TecSys Warehouse Management System.
1. Demonstrated mathematical ability to count accurately and follow written instructions.
2. Must be able to manage multiple, complex instructions simultaneously.
3. Ability to operate forklift, oder picker, and “rider” pallet jacks.
4. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to safely and repetitively lift and carry a 50 pound load as exhibited during a post-offer functional capacity testing process.
5. Ability to work long hours in a warehouse preparing and loading freight.
6. Familiarity with computers and keyboard proficiency.
Preferred Education: Bachelor degree in Business Administration or other related college degree.
1. Knowledge and experience with lot controlled and expiration dated product handling.
2. Knowledge and experience with Q-Pulse Compliance and Improvement Management System.
