    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Under very little supervision, perform routine maintenance duties as directed by the Manager or Supervisor. Communicate with each area of facility managers as needed for knowledge of events. Manager or Supervisor may assign additional work or tasks and perform those duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Signature Service. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.



    Each career at Mercy represents unique members of our caring ministry’s “body”, working together for the health and strength of the whole. To achieve our goals, we need all the parts functioning at their best and this requires the specific qualifications that you’ll bring with you:


    • Education: High school diploma.
    • Licensure: Class E drivers license.
    • Experience: On year of similar type work.
    • Other: Skills, knowledge of painting, light equipment repair and maintenance, office repairs and assembly of equipment. Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: on feet 8 hours per day, lifting 50 lbs, squatting, use of hand tools, electric drills, concrete drilling and repair. Equipment Used drills, hand tools, buffers and floor scrubbers.
    • Preferred Experience: Must be able to manipulate hand tools needed for related job. Good communication skills are a must. Preferred experience to perform general P.M. and repairs, furniture assembly, cleaning machines, and painting. Must be able to do heavy lifting, operate fork lift, pallet jack, may lift up to 25 feet in the air.
